CASI needs your help. In partnership with Quad City area Walgreens stores, CASI is working to ensure that older adults have a one-stop shop for resources this fall.
Thanks to Walgreens, it is easy to Support a Senior. While at any Quad City area Walgreens store, simply pick-up a scannable tag at the check-out and tell the clerk the amount of money you’d like to donate.
Funds raised through the Support a Senior program will purchase fans, holiday gifts and provide services for seniors throughout the year.
Scannable tags are available for purchase now through September 30th at any of the Quad Cities area Walgreens stores. Support a Senior benefits CASI – the Center for Active Seniors.
It’s simple. Visit your local Walgreen’s store, and help a senior in need.
Or go donate online at casiseniors.org/seniors

About Senior Center Month:
Our national celebration of senior centers began in 1979, with Senior Center Week celebrated in May. The concept gained support of other aging organizations, as well as the full Senate and the House Select Committee on Aging. Since then, thanks to the U.S. Conference of Mayors Aging Task Force, numerous mayoral proclamations have declared Senior Center Week. In 1985, NISC was instrumental in achieving the first Senior Center Week Presidential Proclamation signed by President Ronald Reagan. In 2007, NISC designated the entire month of September as Senior Center Month to give centers greater flexibility in scheduling celebratory events.
