Every Thursday night during the summer, hundreds of Quad Citizens enjoy free live music along the Mississippi River during Moline Centre's Summer Concert series. This weekly concert is among a long list of attractions that add to our quality of place, and our region's ability to attract and retain residents and businesses.
The Quad Cities Chamber, in partnership with the City of Moline, leads the Moline Centre Main Street Program. The partnership began in July 2013, and last Tuesday, the City of Moline passed a resolution to extend the agreement through December 2021. Through this partnership, the Chamber works on business attraction and retention, improving the downtown landscape and building quality of place in the region. The Chamber has a similar arrangement with the Downtown Davenport Partnership, through which we produce River Roots Live, Street Fest, Icestravaganza, and Red, White & Boom. These activities are part of our work to create vibrant downtowns in the region.
Moline Centre recently introduced the inaugural Quad Cities Craft Beer Festival - an event that celebrated the region's growing craft beer culture - all while building upon the popular outdoor summer concert series, Get Jazzed, and Lighting on the Commons. To learn more visit molinecentre.org.
