- Julie Forsythe, Vice President of Entrepreneurship & Innovation

For the past six weeks nine teams of entrepreneurs enrolled in Venture School have been working to prove out their business model, ensuring the right product market fit and identifying revenue models. As the Chamber’s VP of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Venture School season is always one of my favorite times of the year. There is nothing more invigorating than to see our community’s up and coming entrepreneurs test their business models and the inspiring collaboration between mentors and students that happens along the way.

I invite you to see for yourself the type of entrepreneurial energy that exists right in our own community. Venture School’s Final Pitch Night is happening tonight (Tuesday, April 18) from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Kahl Education Center, 326 W. 3rd St., 10th floor, Davenport. You’ll have the opportunity to see the results of hours upon hours of hard work by our teams.
